I finally came up with a delicious, healthy, and simple granola bites! It is a great snack whether you are on the go or as a great side of amazing fats to add to your meal.
If you have read my other content you know my body THRIVES off fats. I find that I do not crave processed sugars, I am energized, and I am fuller for longer if I eat healthy fats in every meal.
Aside from meats, the fats in my meals usually consist of avocados, coconut oil, or fruit and nut mix. Creating these granola bites not only satisfies my sweet tooth : ) but I get to switch things up in my meals and snacks. I easily take one of these on my way out to class and it does keep me full until my next meal.
Originally, I wanted to make granola bars but they turned out so sweet I had to make them bites! Trust me, they are sweet but NO added sugar. All whole foods.
I am such an advocate for not suppressing your cravings, instead find healthy alternatives for those cravings and this right here was a success. Enjoy!
